The 2023/2024 NWFL Premiership season will kick off on November 15, 2023. This was announced at the Annual General Assembly held in Lagos, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
Ekiti Queens and Sunshine Queens were promoted to the top flight by the Congress. We now have 16 teams in the top flight.
Group A will see Nasarawa Amazons, Naija Ratels and Adamawa Queens slug it out amongst five other teams while Group B has women football powerhouses, Bayelsa Queens, Rivers Angels, Edo Queens, Delta Queens, Robo Queens and even newly found Remo Ladies.

There will be a break spanning three weeks which will start on the 20th of December 2023 and resume back to action on January 3rd, 2024, the first week of the new year in preparation for the January 10th transfer window
