Napoli striker Victor Osimhen has arrived in the Super Eagles camp ahead of Nigeria’s crucial Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Sierra Leone, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
Osimhen’s arrival brings the number of players in the Super Eagles’ Lagos camp to 22. Head coach Jose Peseiro last week rolled out a 23-man roster for the matchday five clash against Sierra Leone.
After scoring 36 goals in all competitions for the Italian champions Osimhen who has 5 strikes in the AFCON qualifying is expected to spearhead Nigeria’s attack against Sierra Leone.
Meanwhile, head coach, Jose Peseiro has barred the media and fans from today’s training session.
The closed-door training session is scheduled to begin at 4.15pm.
