Following a very outstanding performance in Nigeria’s semifinals clash against South Africa, Stanley Nwabali, Chipper United of South Africa goalie has been named Man of The Match.
The former Katsina United Goalkeeper saved the Eagles after superb display to deny South Africa from scoring.
However, during the penalty shootouts Nwabali was outstanding as he saved two penalties to ensure the Super Eagles booked a place in the final 4-2.
Nwabali dumped out his compatriot William Troost Ekong to clinch the award.
He’s expected to be in goal for the final game slated for Sunday against the host Cote D’Ivoire.
