Former African champions Zambia has joined the growing list of countries that have signified their interest to stage the 2025 African Cup of Nations, Abbeylivenetwork.com understand.
Guinea was originally scheduled to host the competition but had to be stripped of the hosting right after they failed to meet up in terms of facilities.
African soccer ruling body reopened the bidding process in November 2022 and interested countries have started submitting their bids.
Zambia on Wednesday confirmed their interest in staging the 24 countries’ events which have been slated for 2025.
Other countries that registered their interest include Algeria, Morocco, and a host of others.
CAF will officially announce the host of the tournament in 2024.
