The 33rd Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will be held in Cameroon, and following consultation with the local organizing committee, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has decided to bring back its flagship competition to next January.The agreement between the host nation and CAF was signed on January 15th, 2020 in Yaounde, on the sidelines of the AFCON organizing committee meeting, which also decided to move the period of competition .
