The referee council of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has picked Egyptian Mahmoud El Banna as the centre referee for the much-awaited clash between Nigeria’s Super Eagles and Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau on 25th March, 2023 at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports. 

The CAF Referees Committee appointed Mahmoud El Banna who qwill be the central referee. He will be assisted by Youssef Wahid Youssef Elbosaty (1st assistant) and Sami Mohamed Abouzid Halhal (2nd assistant) all from Egypt.

The role of the fourth referee went to Ahmed Elghandour also from Egypt.

The match officials quartet will be under the supervision of Ghanaian Prosper Harrison Addo who is named as the match assessor and also Ghanaian nationality, Kotey Alexandre Neequaye is appointed as match commissioner.

The three times African champions will take on Wild Dogs of Guinea Bissau on Saturday 25th March, 2023 at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja and the second leg takes place in Guinea Bissau a few days later.
