Super Eagles camp ahead of the clashes against Guinea Bissau has opened with six of the invited players in camp as at the time of filing this report, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
As at the time of this report, the players in the Super Eagles camp are Kelechi Iheanacho(Leicester City), Kevin Akpoguma(TSG Hoffenheim), Joe Aribo(Southampton), Semi Ajayi (West Brom), Alex Iwobi(Everton), Ademola Lookman (Atlanta).
More players are expected in camp ahead of the game against Guinea Bissau on Friday with majority of the players expected today.
Super Eagles will have the first training session on Monday at 5:00pm at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja.
Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro invited 23 players to prosecute the double headers between the three times African champions and Guinea Bissau slated to hold next Friday at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja at 5:00pm.
Nigeria in group A are topping the table with 6 points from two matches and closely followed by Guinea Bissau who have garnered 4 points from two games. Super Eagles will have the AFCON ticket sealed if they beat Guinea Bissau home and away.
Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principe have 1 and 0 point to be placed 3rd and 4th on the log respectively.
