Argentina emerged victorious in the Copa America 2024 final after beating Colombia 1-0 in an intense match that went into extra time.
The match, which was delayed by over an hour due to unruly fans without tickets breaching security gates, saw Lautaro Martinez score the winning goal in the 112th minute.
This is Argentina’s 16th Copa America title and their third major international trophy in a three-year span.
Colombia’s 28-game unbeaten streak also came to an end with this loss.
