Arsenal will face Sporting CP, Qarabag and FC Vorskla in this season’s Europa League group phase.
Having finished sixth in the Premier League last season the Gunners will be playing in European club football’s second tier competition this year and will be hoping to go one better than the 2017/2018 campaign.
They reached the semi-final stage only to be eliminated over two legs by eventual winners Atletico Madrid.
In a bid to get their hands on the Europa League trophy – which guarantees automatic qualification into next season’s Champions League – the north London side have hired a specialist in this competition.
However, before they can start dreaming of the final, the team must jump over a few more hurdles beginning with Sporting CP, Qarabag and FC Vorskla.
