Nigeria’s table tennis star, Quadri Aruna, has secured a big transfer to Saudi Arabia club Khaleej from German club TTC RhönSprudel Maberzell Fulda, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.

The announcement was made public through Khaleej’s official social media channels, marking a significant milestone in Aruna’s professional journey.

Currently ranked 16th in the world, Aruna’s move to Khaleej has sent ripples of excitement throughout the international Table Tennis community.

In the 2017 ITTF World Challenge Bulgaria Open, he advanced to the semi-finals, where he was defeated in a tight match by the eventual winner Dimitrij Ovtcharov.

In 2014, he was ranked number 30 in world table tennis, and the International Table Tennis Federation named him the Star Player of the year.

Aruna Quadri, who is fresh from winning the African title in Tunisia, will hope to record plenty success in Saudi Arabia.
