The 2024 African Basketball League playoffs reached day 2 on Saturday and it was a sad outing for Nigeria’s representatives Rivers Hoopers.
Hoopers arrived in Kigali Rwanda brimming with confidence after finishing on top of the Sahara Conference.
They confronted AS Douanes in the seeding game on Saturday and it ended in a defeat for them
The Senegalese dominated the game from the start and secured a comfortable 22-9 win in the first quarter and went to halftime 37-23 lead
Douanes still clinched the 3rd quarter 50-28 before wrapping up the game 63-57 and won the game.
