Bayer Leverkusen secured another comfortable victory on Saturday with another Nigeria’s Super Eagles star Nathan Tella making all the headlines.
Since joining the German side, Nathan Tella has become an integral part of the team with his consistent performance.
Leverkusen played away to Darmstadt on Saturday and it was Tella who netted the opening goal in the 33rd minute to silence the home crowd.
He completed his brace in the second half and handed Bayer Leverkusen a comfortable 2-0 win.
Leverkusen has been without injured striker Victor Boniface but Tella has continued to live up to expectation.
Tella made his debut for Nigeria during the World Cup qualifier against Lesotho.
