Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Rivers United will depart the shore of Nigeria at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Sunday, ahead of their return leg, second round, preliminary stage of the CAF Confederation Cup against Al Nasr of Libya, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.

The Nigeria champions on Wednesday at the Adokiye Amasiamaka Stadium defeated Al Nasr of Libya 5-0 to put one foot in the group stage.

The team will jet out from the Federal Capital Territory Abuja on Sunday and will have a brief stop-over in Cairo, Egypt before reaching Libya.

The game against Al Nasr is slated for Wednesday and the winner over two-leg fixture will go into the group stage draw that will take place on the 16th of November.
