Nigerian Professional Football League Champions Rivers United FC on Wednesday afternoon spanked El Nasr Benghazi 5-0 in the 1st-leg of their CAF Confederation Cup playoff tie, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
The game played at the Adokiye Amasiamaka Stadium in Port-Harcourt witnessed the host dominating the game from the blast of the whistle.
Ebube Duru put Rivers United upfront in the 12th minute. Kazie Ezinnaya doubled the host advantage in the 15th minute.

At halftime, Rivers United FC had a well deserved 3-0 lead over their stunned Libyan opponents at the Adokieye Amasiamaka stadium, Port Harcourt.
