Nigerian champions, Rivers United will discover their group-stage foes in the CAF Confederation Cup on Monday, December 12, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
The draw was initially fixed for November 16 but was later postponed by the Confederation of African Football.
According to the update coming from CAF, December 12th has been fixed for the draw at its headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
It could be recalled that, Rivers United secured a place in the lucrative group stage of the competition following a 6-1 aggregate win against Al Nassr of Libya.
Stanley Eguma’s side initially campaigned in the CAF Champions League before dropping to the CAF Confederation Cup.
