Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze bagged an assist as Villarreal crushed Austria Wien 5-0 on Thursday in the Europa Conference League (ECL).
The Nigerian international who was making his third appearance in the competition, set up Alex Baena for the opening goal in the 18th minute.
In the 25th minute, Chukwueze came close to doubling the lead when he curled a left-footed shot past the angle of the post and bar.
Nigerian-born Netherlands international Arnaut Danjuma. poked the ball into the far corner to make it 2-0 in the 43rd minute before a late hat-trick from Morales sealed the win.
Elsewhere, Yusuf Otubanjo was the hero for Pyunik Yerevan in their 2-0 win over Zalgiris.
Juninho put the home team in front just before the break, then Otubanjo stepped up in the 60th minute to make sure Pyunik Yerevan claimed a 2-0 win that takes them to second in Group H.
Moses Simon featured for Nantes who lost 2-0 to Freiburg in Group G of the Europa League on Thursday.
It is now back-to-back defeats for Nantes and they have managed just one win in their last five games (four losses).
Simon was later taken off in the 69th minute for Cameroon forward Ignatius Ganago.
It was Nantes’ second loss in three group games which leaves them in third place.
