NigeriaU-17 Flamingoes forward Etim Edidong says they are geared to make a statement ahead of the FIFA U-17 World Cup competition in India starting from October 11th, 2022, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
The Bayelsa queens forward was instrumental in Flamingos 3-1 win against Galatasaray Ladies scoring twice in their warm up friendly tour on Saturday.
“From what I have seen so far, we played as a team and I believed we are ready for the World Cup.
“As we have been playing together as a team, I’m sure we going to go all out at the World Cup”,

The Flamingos start against Germany in Goa on Tuesday, October 11 at 8 pm India time (4 pm Nigeria time).
The Flamingos take on New Zealand on Friday, October 14 also in Goa, and fly to Bhubaneswar to take on Chile on Monday, October 17.
