FIFA U-17 Women World Cup bronze medalist, the Flamingos will arrive Abuja this afternoon, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
The team which left India 4am on Tuesday morning, transisted at Adisababa, Ethiopia where they were expected to leave for Nigeria at 7.00 hours to arrive Abuja 12noon.
Nigeria’s Flamingos won the bronze medal match at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in India after a thrilling encounter against Germany on Sunday afternoon which ended with the a 3-3 on regulation time.
Nigeria claimed a deserved win over their German opponents to exact revenge over the Europeans via 3-2 penalty shootout.
