This is Michele klostermann a German/Nigerian born Wolsfburg and German youth player.
Abbey Live Network caught up with her dad who is German inside the Volkswagen Arena on Sunday and he opened up to us about the decision of her daughter to play for the Super Falcons of Nigeria.
Mr Klostermann affirmed that Michele has always been talking about Nigeria since she started playing football and at 18 he cannot stop her from doing what she want. The proud father said he is fully in support of her decision and he also love Nigeria.
We finally got in touch directly with Michele through her dad after watching amazing her skills on video. Our man Abiodun Ilori who was in Germany had to break his journey to gather more information about this young and big hearted lady.
Michele personally called to introduce herself and opened up on why she changed her mind and the issues she had with the German National team Coach. She was very clear in her words that she is more Nigerian and her joy will be to put on the colours of Nigeria.
She was asked about the difference in the style of play, culture and background. Michele responded by telling us that her our style suits the Super Falcons because she is naturally a physical player. Culturally, she is a Lagosian and understand it all because her mum is from Lagos state.
Michele threw the final bombshell when she told us she has already booked an appointment with the Nigerian Embassy to secure her Nigerian passport.
Michele is a very confident young girl who believe she will add values to the Super Falcons if given the opportunity.
Michele is just 18yrs of age with a mentality of a matured player with good football intelligence.
We are hopeful that Nigeria football managers will give her a chance to showcase her skills in the green white green colours of Nigeria.
