Nantes winger, Moses Simon will be sidelined for at least two weeks as a result of injury, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.

The 27-year-old picked up a knock in Nantes’ 3-1 victory against Toulouse on Sunday.

The Nigeria international was forced out of the game in the 80th minute after picking up the injury.

Simon bagged a brace and recorded an assist for the Canaries in the game.

After scan carried out on Simon yesterday showed muscle strain, the Super Eagles winger was asked to rest the leg for two weeks. He is to now miss two Ligue 1 actions against Strasbourg and PSG.

The Super Eagles winger has got off to a flying start this new season with two goals and an assist thus far.

Nantes are 11th on the table with five points from four matches.
