The nine-time African champions Super Falcons of Nigeria will battle the reigning World champions in their preparation for the 2023 FIFA World Cup, with first clash at the Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas on 3rd September and then have a go at each other’s jugular once more at the Audi Field in Washington, D. The United States Women’s National Team met the Super Falcons for the first team in 2015 in the Women’s World Cup, the Falcons lost to the USWNT.

The United States Women’s National Team repeated the trick against the Super Falcons this time the Nigerian women’s team suffered 2-0 in a friendly clash on the 16th of June 2021.

Though the nine-time African champion gave a spirited display, it was not enough to deny the Americans from extending their unbeaten run to 42 games at that time.

NFF TV confirmed that it has secured the rights to the live broadcast the double header international friendly on 3rd September and 6th September 2022.

The match will be available online courtesy of the NFF streaming platforms. NFF TV will broadcast the matches to Nigeria free of charge. They have assured that they will do so on their Facebook platform. This means allow supporters to watch and catch replay of matches in their English language.

However some other TV station in Nigeria will partner NFF TV in showing the match across all nationwide
