The greatest fear of every Arsenal fans is to see their darling team disintegrate to a point where they will either be relegated or struggle for survival with the way things are going at the Emirates.
Mikel Arteta if appointed will no doubt need time to settle down in a situation where there is no time. The more i look at his almost done appointment, the more i see Arsenal going down. He might just be the ignition needed to confirm the fears of every Arsenal fans. Things have never been this bad at least in the last 24yrs.
Based on experience and the urgency of surgery needed in the current Arsenal team, Sam Allardyce would have been a better option till the end of the season at least. He has done it before and he has now come out to say give me the job, i will fix the defence even in his retirement. Why not give it to him till the end of the season at least to bring sanity to the Arsenal’s hopeless defence.
Arteta, is a nice intelligent man no doubt but he has no experience of managing a hot seat, no to talk of a seriously divided Emirate dressing room plus the China distraction. Why take unnecessary risk when you are already struggling to stand on your two feet. Arsenal need a crazy man to bring back sanity to the over pampered team and not a rookie who has never managed any team in the past. He might have worked with Pep Guardiola but hey! Pep is Pep and Mikel is Mikel at the end of the day. It is Pep that we know and not Mikel. He might even be gone before the end of the season. His appointment is a higher risk than the sacking of Emery.
