Samuel Chukwueze has long been AC Milan ‘s first big transfer market target for the right attacking wing. Chukwueze’s future has been in the balance for months. The Nigerian’s contract at Villarreal is set to expire at the end of next season.

The Rossoneri have already reached a contractual agreement with the Nigeria international – whose contract expires in June 2024 – and in the last few hours they have presented an offer to Villarreal who have not given an answer yet.
The eventual arrival of Chukwueze – a non-EU player – would exclude the possibility of signing Daichi Kamada on a free transfer given that he does not have an EU passport either.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a brilliant campaign with Quique Satien’s side last term, notching 13 goals and eleven assists in all competitions.
