Napoli have announced they will take legal action against a famous Italian toy store over an unlicensed doll that bears a striking resemblance to Victor Osimhen, Abbeylivenetwork.com understand.
The doll has gone viral on social media as it has several pretty obvious elements that link it to the Nigerian international.
This includes a protective mask with the 9 on it, a light blue jersey, and a blonde shock of curly hair.
Napoli released a statement this evening confirming that the doll is not in any way authorised by the club or Osimhen and is therefore breaching his image rights.
“We’re denying any report on the Italian media about releasing kids’ toy ‘Cicciobello Bomber’ inspired by Victor Osimhen in Napoli shirt.
That product was not authorized by the club — we will settle this issue in court”, the statement said.
