The World Boxing Federation President Mr Howard Goldberg spoke with Abbey Live Network correspondent in Lagos over the weekend. He spoke at length about his love for Nigeria and the hospitality of the people.
On boxing, Mr Howard said Nigeria has a huge potential to dominate the sport and his Federation will be happy to work with the Nigeria Boxing Board of Control (NBBofC) in the areas of training and fights.
Mr Howard who was in Nigeria to supervise the WBF Heavyweight Intercontinental Championship fight between Ariel Barcamonte of Argentina and Odorionte aka Godzilla the American based Nigerian boxer at the Tafawa Balewa Square last Saturday in Lagos.
The fight which was sponsored by GoTV was filled with so much fun and excitement.
