The Nationwide League One Secretariat hereby wish to clear the misunderstanding on the above-stated subject matter.
• The statutory payment of annual club/players registration is three hundred thousand naira only. (N300k), this money covered Insurance, medicals, affiliation with the NLO, players’ and officials’ licenses. As approved by the congress of Nationwide League One.
• The participation fee for the league is Two Hundred Thousand Naira Only. (N200k) this figure is usually determined by the NLO Secretariat and approved by the Board of NLO. (This N200k covers all expenses associated with matches for the season, such as Stadium hire, medicals, security, match officials, ball boys, and host FA expenses. etc.)
EXPLANATION.
The Nationwide League One Secretariat had earlier proposed to the board for an increment to N300k due to the economic situation in the country, but the new sponsor of the NLO intervened by taking responsibility of some of the logistics, this made the NLO Board retain the N200k as participation fee which must be paid at the centers.
