Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has approved the appointment of a four-man caretaker committee for the state-owned club, Kano Pillars, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
Kabiru Baita, special adviser to the governor on sports, will act as the chairman of the committee.
Other committee members are Abba Galadima, Mukhtar Ahmed and Engineer Munir Ahmad Gwarzo.
The committee will report directly to the office of the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
Kano Pillars were relegated to the Nigeria National League, NNL, last season.
The four-time Nigeria Premier Football League champions have reorganized their technical crew, with experienced tactician Evan Ogenyi now in charge of the team.
