English Premier League club, Nottingham Forest, have not been impressed with Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis, and they could offload him this January, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
Dennis joined Nottingham Forest from Watford in August for €14.8million. However, the Super Eagles striker has failed to replicate the same brilliance he showed at Watford last season.
Dennis, 25, was signed from Watford in August but has struggled to impress under Steve Cooper, making three Premier League starts and scoring one goal.
In the 3-0 defeat at Manchester United on December 27, Dennis appeared as a second-half substitute and is alleged to have infuriated coaching staff for his part in the home team’s third goal.
That could prove to be a turning point for the former Club Bruges player, who the club are now ready to offload as they look to find room in their 25-man squad for new additions.
Forest had high hopes for Dennis, who scored ten goals for Watford last season as they fought unsuccessfully against relegation from the top flight.
The Nigeria international has had a nomadic career, playing for five different European clubs in Europe.
Dennis is currently valued at €12million as per Transfermarkt. He has a big point to prove if he wants to remain at City Ground. The team is currently fighting tooth and nail to stay afloat in the Premier League.
