The Nigeria Premier Football league, NPFL reached the halfway mark with matchday nine games this weekend, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.

Akwa United took the lead for the first time in the game on 23 minutes with Liman Ahmadu tucking home after Cyril Olisema ferocious free kick crashes off criss cross bar.
Veteran forward, Ibrahim Ajani equalised for 3SC late in the first half.
