Nigeria Professional Football League champions, Rivers United have completed the signing of Lobi Stars forward Joseph Atule, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
The talented forward caught the eye of Rivers United at the concluded NPFL Super Six at Mobolaji Johnson Arena Onikan Stadium, Lagos.
Atule impressed during the Nigeria Premier League Super Six playoffs despite Lobi Stars finishing last on the table.
The versatile forward scored five goals and registered five assists in 17 league appearances for Lobi Stars last season.

Meanwhile, the deal see Atule earn around ₦600,000 per month, and also entitled to sign on fees.
He is expected to link up with the Port Harcourt club in time for their 2023/2024 CAF Champions preliminary round campaign.
Stanley Eguma’s side finished third during the Nigeria Premier League season Super Six playoffs last season.
