Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Abia Warriors,have announced the appointment of Erasmus Onu as their new head coach, Abbeylivenetwork.com gathered.
The experienced tactician takes charge of the Umuahia- based club following the departure of Imama Amapakabo at the end of 2021/22 season.
Onu previously worked with Heartland Football Club of Owerri.
“Abia Warriors Football Club is delighted to welcome Erasmus Onu as our new Head Coach!?. He joins on a two year contract,” reads a tweet on the club’s official Twitter handle on Tuesday.
The coach arrives with a rich resume, having handled ABS, Jigawa Golden Stars, Sunshine Stars and Niger Tornadoes.
Abia Warriors barely escaped relegation from the NPFL last season.
