Bayelsa United held leader Lobi Stars to a 1-1 draw in Lafia.
Sunday Chinedu put the host ahead in the 61st minute and Kehinde Lawal equalized for Bayelsa in the 79th minute.
In Aba, Rangers compounded the woes of Heartland FC with a 1-2 away win.
Ifeanyi Onyeabuchi put the Flying Antelope ahead in the 38th minute before Kalu Nweke made it 2-0 in the 55th minute while the host scored a consolatory goal later in the game.
In Ikenne, goals from Adams Olamilekan and Hadi Haruna gave Remo Stars a 2-0 victory over Bendel Insurance.
