Super Eagles duo, Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman are among the five players nominated for the Serie A Player of the Month for October, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
The Nigerian stars scored vital goals for their respective clubs in the month.
Victor Osimhen is a deserving favourite for the monthly award after scoring 5 goals in just three outings for Luciano Spaletti’s team, the current league leaders, in October, including his hat-trick over the weekend against Sassuolo.
On the other hand, since joining Mario Gasperini’s squad in July, Ademola Loookman has been a revelation with five goals in 12 Serie A games for Atalanta this season, four of which came in his final five games for the Italians in the month of October.
The duo will battle AC Milan’s Rafael Leao, Inter Milan’s midfielder, Nicolo Barella and Lazio star, Sergej Milinkovic- Savic for the individual prize.
