Head coach of the Nigeria national team, Jose Peseiro, has replaced Leon Balogun in his squad to face Algeria in a friendly next week with Valentine Ozornwafor, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Balogun has picked up an injury, despite playing the entire 90 minutes in QPR’s goalless draw against Stoke City.

Ozornwafor, already capped three times in the past for Nigeria is a former U-20 international and one of the few left-footed centre backs in the Super Eagles at the moment.
The Super Eagles will face the Desert Foxes on September 27.
