Segun Odegbami, one of Nigeria’s greatest footballer, has voiced his belief that the Super Eagles will triumph in the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Abijan, Cote D’Ivoire.
The former star striker who was one of the greatest footballers in Nigerian history, has expressed his belief that the Super Eagles will bring the Africa Cup of Nations home.
In his words, “the current squad has the talent and determination to achieve success. This team has a good blend of experienced players and young up-and-comers, and I am confident that you will deliver for the nation.
“Be confident, calm, cool, do the things you know how to do best under any circumstance. I am here till the very end, I wish you the best of luck, God will be with you and we will carry the trophy home”. he concluded.
Segun Odgbami was part of the team that won the 1980 Afcon.
