Atalanta cruise to a 3-0 win over Napoli, ending Calzona’s unbeaten start in Serie A.
The visitors made light work of the first half, with Miranchuk hitting the post just three minutes in before he scored the opener with a close-range finish in the 26th minute.
The Russian then set up Scamacca for his powerful strike on the stroke of half-time. Napoli came out with intent in the second half, but an inspired Carnesecchi made a number of big saves to keep out Osimhen, while Zielinski also struck the post.
Koopmeiners came off the bench to wrap things up late on, slotting his low shot out of Meret’s reach. Atalanta stay in sixth with that win, though they’re now just four points off fourth place with a game in hand on those around them.
Next up for them is Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia semi-final. Napoli’s six-game unbeaten in the league comes to an end, and they stay seventh. Next up for them is a trip to Monza.
