Nigeria forward, David Okereke, was on target as Cremonese forced hosts Salernitana to a 2-2 draw in their Serie A clash on Saturday, Abbey;ivenetwork.com reports.

The Nigerian striker had been without a goal in the league since he scored a worldie against Inter Milan in Cremonese 3-1 loss in August.

Former Milan striker, Krzysztof Piatek, scored the first goal of the game in the 3rd minute of the game, but David Okereke pulled back for Cremonese with a super hit.

It was his 3rd goal in 13 league games, but his first 8 games.

The home team through Lassana Coulibaly went ahead again in the 38th minute but a substitute, Daniel Ciofani equalized for Cremonese to silence the crowd at the Stadio Arechi.

Cremonese are yet to record a win in the Italian top-flight this season.
