Spartak Moscow CEO Oleg Malyshev has shared an update on the future of former Nigeria international Victor Moses at the Red and Whites, Abbeylivenetwork.com reports.
Spartak CEO Oleg Malyshev disclosed the future of midfielder Victor Moses, whose contract expires in the summer of 2024.
“We haven’t talked to Moses about a contract extension yet. But we will watch and follow the game. Now we are counting on it. He is one of the best base players. Let’s see what will happen in the future,” Malyshev stated.
Moses, 32, joined the Moscow team in October 2020 from Chelsea on a one-year loan. In the summer of 2021, Spartak bought the rights to the Nigerian midfielder for €5 million euros.
The 2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner has appeared in 66 official matches for Spartak Moscow since joining them in 2020, first on loan before sealing a permanent transfer in the summer of 2021, which ended a nine-year association with Chelsea.
