Nigeria’s camp ahead of the international friendly against Desert Foxes of  Algeria will open September 19th, Abbeylivenetwork.com gathered.

The friendly between Algeria and Nigeria is scheduled to hold on September 27, in Oran.

According to reports, the camp will not be held in the team’s base in Abuja and several players have been sent their Call ups through their club sides.

Head coach of the Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro, is expected to announce his squad for the friendly this week.

The game is billed for the Miloud Hadefi Stadium, Oran, on Tuesday, September 27.

The Super Eagles will have almost a week to prepare for the game.

September’s FIFA window was initially meant for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, but postponement of the Tournament from June 2023 to January 2024 altered the dates for qualifiers.

Hence the NFF reached an agreement with its Algerian counterpart, La Fédération Algérienne de football, for the international friendly.

Meanwhile, both teams will not be at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar coming up in November.
