Nigeria Women Football League side, Robo Queens has confirmed the transfer of two of its players Esther Onyenezide and Opeyemi Ajakaye to Madrid CFF in Spain from Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) Premiership side.
Esther showed herself to the globe during the women’s U20 World.Cup held in Costa Rica.
The former Robo FC Queens attacking midfielder scored three goals in four matches but could not help Nigeria progress beyond the quarte-finals stages after the Falconets were defeated by the Netherlands.
Opeyemi Ajakaye was with Nigeria’s U-20 women at the WAFU-B U-20 tournament in Ghana. And there, she won the tournament’s highest goalscorer with six goals.
Both players have been called up to the Super Falcons recently and are now expected to continue their development at their new club in Madrid.
