Nigeria’s Flying Eagles will step up preparations for the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations with friendlies against Nigeria Professional Football League clubs, Abbeylivenetwork com reports.

 

 

It was learnt the WAFU B champions will take on Nasarawa United, Niger Tornadoes and Wikki Tourists next week.

 

The friendlies against the NPFL clubs will further test the team’s readiness for the U-20 AFCON.

 

The Flying Eagles will embark on Christmas and New Year break on December 22 and then resume, January 4.

 

 

Egypt will host the 2023 U-20 AFCON from February 18 to March 12.

 

The four teams at the competition will fly Africa’s flag at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup to be hosted by Indonesia
