With clock ticking down to the start of the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup, Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso says his team is ready for every opponent at the competition.
The two-time finalists played out a thrilling 3-3 draw against Colombia in their last warm-up game on Tuesday night.
The Flying Eagles will head into the competition in buoyant mood having recorded a win and draw from their two friendlies since arriving in Argentina for a 10-day camping programme.
“We are focused on the big challenge ahead, which is to put up a creditable performance that will match the pedigree of our country at this championship,” Bosso told thenff.com.
“Our ultimate target is to have a good campaign and with this result, we will be very ready for our first match against the Dominican Republic on Sunday,” he said.
The West Africans will face five-time winners Brazil, Italy and debutants Dominican Republic in Group D at the World Cup.
They will kick-start their campaign against Dominican Republic in Mendoza.
