Porto claim a late 1-0 win over Arsenal to give themselves a slight advantage heading into the Champions League last-16 second leg in London a few weeks from now.
Galeno missed two chances in quick succession in the first half, hitting the post from one of them, while Arsenal’s only opportunities all game came via corners.
It looked like the largely uneventful game was going to finish goalless, but Galeno had other ideas as he curled in a superb goal in the 94th and final minute to snatch the victory at Estadio do Dragao.
Porto now switch focus to a league match against Gil Vicente on Sunday, while Arsenal – who had won five in a row prior to today – face Newcastle United on their return to Premier League action on Saturday.
