The West African Football Union ( WAFU) has announced Ghana as the host of this year’s U17 championship and made it the second consecutive it will take place in the same country.
Ghana hosted the last edition and Golden Eaglets clinched the trophy and qualified for the U17 African Cup of Nations.
Nigeria, Niger, Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Togo and the host Ghana are the countries that will participate in the competition.
The championship which will serve as the qualifier for the next U17 AFCON has been scheduled to take place from the 15th of May, 2024.
