After much delay, the Bafana Bafana of South Africa has finally arrived in Uyo, the capital of Akwa ibom state for the epic clash against Nigeria.
The 1996 African champions and the bronze medalist of the 2023 Afcon hosted by Cote D’Ivoire were initially expected to arrive on Wednesday via chartered flight but the arrangement changed along the line due to airplane cases.
They pass Wednesday night in Port-Harcourt before departing for Uyo on Thursday morning.
They arrived in the early hours of thursday afternoon and are expected to have their compulsory training at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium the venue of the game at 8pm Nigeria time tonight.
