The Nigeria men’s national team has safely landed in Abidjan, the capital of Cote D’Ivoire for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Benin Republic on Monday.

The Nigeria contingent consists of all 23 players, the technical crew, and some top members of the Nigeria Football Federation.

The head coach of the team Finidi George will attend a pre-match press conference at 3.30 p.m while the Super Eagles will have a training session at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny later in the evening.

The match against Benin will be held at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny in Abidjan, a familiar ground for the Super Eagles having recently played a couple of matches during the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

Nigeria is currently placed 5th in Group C of the World Cup qualifiers with 3 points, one point behind their host who sits in the 3rd position.
